Frequently asked questions
How is it different from the Grade 4 sheet?
In Grade 4 times are to the quarter hour, with durations up to 3 h 45 and only hours-minutes conversions. Grade 5 moves to five minutes, up to 5 h 55, and adds seconds.
How do I convert 185 seconds?
Find how many 60-second blocks fit in 185: 3 minutes (180 s) with 5 s left, that is 3 min 5 s. The sheet asks for this kind of conversion and prints the answers.
Do the durations cross midnight?
No: start and end times stay within the same day, so the focus stays on the calculation itself.
Can I choose just one exercise type?
