Frequently asked questions
Which times appear on a Grade 2 sheet?
Every hour of the dial (1 to 12) with the minutes 00, 15, 30 and 45. Times are written in 12-hour form: 3:15, 7:45.
How is it different from the Grade 1 and Grade 3 sheets?
Grade 1 has full hours and half hours only. Grade 3 adds minutes in steps of five. Grade 2 is the step in between: quarter hours.
My child mixes up the hour and minute hands. What can I do?
Keep the same colour code for several sessions and use a real clock where the child turns the hands. Start with “draw the hands”, which forces a choice of which hand to move.
How many clocks are on a sheet?
You choose 4, 6 or 8 exercises; the clocks are shared between the exercise types ticked. One click on “Regenerate” gives new times.
Can I customize this worksheet with a different theme?
Yes. Beyond the educational content, you can choose from 10 themes (space, ocean, unicorn, superhero…) that change the color palette of the worksheet to make it more appealing to your child.
