Addition, subtraction, multiplication, or a mix of the three. Multiplication is only offered from Grade 3; Grades 1 and 2 have addition and subtraction.
How does the child know they made a mistake?
The code matches every result with a colour. If a zone matches no colour in the code, or the picture makes no sense, that signals a calculation error.
Can we review the times tables at the same time?
Yes: the multiplication calculations draw on the times tables; the “Times tables” tool (Grade 2 and Grade 3 levels) can be used to review them first.
